Betoj Designs 2023

I have a new found love of stones, and I'm cutting them myself. I learned to make cabachons from the Houston Gem & Mineral Society, and I have converted my faceting machine into a flap lap for making cut stones. Cabachons are gemstone material that are domed on top and have a flat bottom. I also recently purchased a vintage cabbing machine. Cutting, slicing, and cabbing rocks is my new found passion. I also learned to cut faceted stones, but let's leave that style of cutting to someone more disciplined and patient. Not me!
